Joanna Pagowska

I am a graduate of the BA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (I.I.C.P.) and an accredited member with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (I.A.C.P.).

My priority as a counsellor is to enable you to find your freedom from beliefs, fears, thoughts and behaviours that serve no positive purpose in your life.

I aim to help you achieve this through exploring your past and present experiences in an environment that is safe, warm and free of judgement – allowing you to develop a greater understanding of yourself on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.

I believe that each person has great inner wisdom and potential to change, grow and cope with difficulties that occur in life.

I integrate and draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on what best suits the client and the issue they present with. I combine elements of Humanistic, Psycho-dynamic and Cognitive therapies.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, abuse, addiction, depression, low self-esteem, loss, bereavement, relationship issues, eating disorders, career and identity issues, anger management.
I work with both English and Polish speaking clients.

I have extensive experience of working with diverse client populations in one to one and group settings for the last 7 years.

I am committed to my personal and professional growth and self-care through daily meditation and yoga practice.
