What does the 6-week mindfulness course cover?
The course is based on the world-renowned Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course founded by Mark Williams, Zindel Segel and John Teasdale.
At the end of the course, you will understand what mindfulness is, the impact of mindfulness on your brain and a range of practical tools to lead a more mindful life.

The regular practice of mindfulness is one of the best techniques for managing stress in your life. It is a simple technique which is about being and living in the present moment – not thinking about the past or future but focussing your attention on the now. It is about applying 100% attention to exactly what you are doing at this exact moment. It is like going to the gym for your mind.
The 6-week course is about giving you the mindfulness techniques and practicing them so that you can use every day. Mindfulness practices can provide a pathway to a better quality of
life, encompassing greater emotional and mental wellbeing, increased happiness levels, reduced stress, and better relationships.
Ollie moved on from ESB following a very successful career covering 41 years. He retired as MD of ESB International – building it to be a leading Global Engineering Consultancy with over 800 professional staff from 40 nationalities working in over 30 countries – including Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Philippines, Pakistan, Malaysia, Tanzania, Liberia and South Africa.
He has extensive leadership training at UCD, Trinity, IMI, London, Cranfield, IMD in Austria and Harvard. He has recently been awarded Fellowship of Engineers Ireland and earlier this year
Chartered Director status by the Institute of Directors in London. Along with his many Business and Leadership qualifications, Ollie is a practicing multi-disciplinary therapist with
