Julia Daly is a Registered Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapist with the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). She has a background in Mental Health Nursing and specialist experience in Perinatal Psychiatry.
Julia has a particular interest in the psychological and relational impact of cancer treatment on sexuality and intimacy, as well as mental health difficulties, early attachment experiences, gynaecological concerns, fertility challenges, and the transition to parenthood. Her work also encompasses pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period — times that can profoundly shape identity, relationships, and sexual wellbeing.
She offers a compassionate, trauma-sensitive and non-judgmental space for individuals and couples experiencing sexual or relationship difficulties. These may include challenges with desire, arousal, erections, orgasm, intimacy, communication, and conflict. Julia also works with concerns such as pain during sex, fear of intimacy or sex, feeling unsafe or disconnected from one’s body, and the lasting effects of sexual trauma on sexual functioning and relationships.
Her approach is grounded, evidence-based, and deeply respectful of each person’s unique story. She believes that with the right support, it is possible to reconnect with your body, rebuild intimacy, and cultivate relationships that feel safe, fulfilling, and alive.
